Checking collected products for numbers and quality. Sorting, placing on route and scanning the (fresh) products that came in at night. Compiling and preparing the orders on route and customer. Moving the orders to the correct route. Identifying possible deviations and taking the correct follow-up actions. Transferring valuable orders to the driver using a pocket computer.
This department works with tight deadlines to ensure that orders are ready for shipment on time. Thanks to your fast and accurate approach, you ensure that the trucks are loaded on time and leave on time. You mainly work in a cooled +5 degrees environment.
Impression of the job:
- You speak English at B1 level
- You have at least 6 months experience in logistics
- You are in a good physical condition
- It is a plus if you have a driving licence
- It is a plus if you have your own house
Salary of:
€14,61 per hour for 21+ year
€13,48 per hour for 20 year
€12,06 per hour for 18-19 year
The salary is gross and including 10,5% holiday allowance and irregular holiday hours, paid weekly.
In addition:
- Allowances for irregular working hours varying from 25% to 100%.
- Depending which shift or location you work, you will receive extra allowance for cold (+ € 0,46) or freezer (+ € 1,11)
- You will have a buddy to guide you on the work floor
- You get stable working hours
- You can work full-time for a longer period
- You will receive work clothing from Sligro (shirt, jumper)
- Sligro has well-stocked canteens where lunch is not expensive.
- You will also receive extras such as free milk, coffee, tea, cup-a-soup, soft drinks and fresh fruit during breaks, a Christmas package & staff party.
Our selection process:
- Application: Apply to the offer/s that suit you. We'll get in contact with you within the next 48h hours to talk about your application. We'll discuss your experience, availability and expectations.
- Introduction: Who are you? Who are we? Where will you work..? We'd like to know who you are and to see you in person. We'll have a videocall interview to meet each other and solve all of our questions.
- Skills test: If the offer requires it, we'll make a small test for you to prove your skill.
- Documents: Once both parts are happy, we'll send you the required documents such as the job offer, contract, terms and conditions. You'll be able to sign these before travelling to The Netherlands.
- Transport and housing: If you're coming from abroad, you'll have to organize your trip. If you need housing, we'll organize it for you, including the transport between your job and the house. If you don't have Dutch medical insurance, we'll be able to offer it for you. These costs will be deducted directly from your weekly salaries and will show up in your payslip
- Starting in your new job: You'll have a job coach who'll answer and solve all your doubts and questions. You'll receive feedback and they'll always be available for you to discuss work related issues. Important: You'll receive your first salary at the end of your second work week, so we strongly recommend bringing some money to pay your essential expenses.
